Part one, "Running for President" is a detailed account of the 2016 Presidential Campaign from Bernie's perspective. It was revealing, but part two, "An agenda for a New America: How We Transform Our Country", was my favorite part. Loaded with chapters like, "Defeating the Oligarchy", "Ending A Rigged Economy", "Healthcare For All", etc I mined for nuggets. After completing the Audiobook version, I bought the paperback to add to my reference shelf. It was THAT good, IMHO.

My local bookstore did a promotion giving away the print version of this book on indie bookstore day. I walked down just to get it and say hi.

Fun fact the print is really small, so I tracked down the ebook from the publisher, and bought that. The paperback will be gifted to help spread the word.

I've been leery of Amazon for a while, and seeing how things work as an author only re-inforced my worries.

Danny's words resonated and helped push me further from giving amazon my money.

I learned much about the independent bookstore plight in the battle to survive the Amazon onslaught, and it further entrenched my already staunch opposition to all-things Amazon.

I thoroughly enjoyed the audiobook version of this book as I was driving for my PT job. Thought-provoking, eye-opener. Broadened my perspective on the political hyperbole about the deficit. Influenced my thinking on the economy & made me a fan of MMT / Modern Monetary Theory.
