Lord what a mixed bag this was. A shame, too, because I really liked some of it. Oddly enough the Christmas short story tacked onto the end was my favorite of the bunch, simply because the prose was fun and pretty on my brain.

But the headliner itself, while fun in some ways (Holly's snappy dialogue being a highlight in a couple of scenes) in others dragged. It's one of those things where it's a product of its time. Can't take it as more than that. Overall lukewarm, but I don't regret the brief time I spent to scurry through it. I had fun, and that's all I can ask for.
