I’m calling this more of a two and a half than a full three stars.

It’s incredibly hokey and cheesy. Charlie makes some flat-out absurd choices. Clay is the worst detective who ever lived. John deserves so much better.

While the writing itself is decent, there are a number of times where scenes are constructed in a really confusing manner that I don’t think is intentional. There’s a LOT of chaotic nonsense going on in here and at times I often had to reread passages to try and get a grasp of the setting and where certain characters physically were.
