On paper this is the type of book that I love and I’ve really enjoyed reading the Wayward Children series so I was eager to get into it. Unfortunately I it was waaaaaay too long for my taste and I found myself skimming entire chapters towards the end just to move the plot along. The main characters were interesting and I was intrigued enough to want to know what happens but somehow I also felt bored at the same time.
