Pass on it

Not worth the length.

This style of writing - first person account intercut with news articles and interviews and such - was a great medium for a zombie apocalypse. This, not so much. With a single storyteller, every time it cut away to interview some expert or ranger, it felt more like it was simply padding. While World War Z covers perspectives from all over the globe, this focuses on a very small group of people undergoing a very unique experiment. I didn't really care about the characters because nothing really gave me the desire to care.

Add on top of that that the large majority of this book was more about a natural disaster than it was about bigfoot and you get a book that simply wasn't worth it. Maybe if it were half the length. Maybe if you started where it got good.
