@SallyStrange I read it when it came out. It's kind of a maddening book, in part because the footnotes or sources get thinner as the book proceeds, I expect out of sheer exasperation, but the rhetorical claims get pretty intense at the same time. Hard to ingest.

Well it's been a few years so it all seems like rhetoric. But there are some things I remember noting that she was referring to as fact without a reference, particularly later in the book.
