i cut my teeth on old guard hard sci fi (thanks to my dads old book collection and subscriptions to Analog and Asimov's)

but i think this is my first "real" cyberpunk. so i guess good to start with to OG. but MAN 30 minutes in and it's a bit difficult to follow thanks to the overwrought almost noir like floral language and verbosity. i suppose i shouldn't be surprised given the time but geeze.
