Riveted lit’s advent reads for December 2

This was ok, the writing was really well done and the first part really got ahold of me - well written characters and showing the horribleness of the town, and getting into Alys’s head really well. but then at the end it kind of ... lost it’s way, the story kinda just fizzled and the ending felt flat. Everything was resolved but it felt shallow and anticlimactic and I finished feeling a bit unsatisfied.
