Andy finished reading Microbes, Ferments and Moulds by Édouard Louis Trouessart
It interesting reading a 100+ year old popular science book. I chose this one for #polymathreadingchallange Fungi, but it's a lot more about the microbial theory of disease & the work of Pasteur,Jenner & Lister. A lot of Microbes are identified as parasitical fungi, which is necessarily the case. However this was written when microbial theory was a new modern hypothesis. A fair few folk could do with reading this especially about "raw" milk
