Sally Rooney, Sally Rooney: Normal People (Hardcover, 2018, Faber & Faber)

Rubbish. A quarter of it is love scenes. Very steamy like fifty shades of grey

Review of 'Normal People' on 'Goodreads'

What a great book! Switching between the narrators was nicely and naturally done. The characters are odd, believable, and they grow and mature. They manage to be both completely different from myself, yet with all sorts of really recognizable traits which I also experience. The way that the author achieves that with varying breaks of time between each chapter is nicely done and achieves the effect of carrying the reader through time in a credible way. The descriptions are so vivid you can just picture the whole thing. Great.
