Review of 'A Pale View of Hills' on 'Goodreads'

Nicely written and with a rather strange, mysterious plot. There is a lot.going on beneath the surface and only occasionally does this erupt into what are sometimes horrifying events. The book is undoubtedly a tradegy and has a sad tone throughout, but nevertheless also somehow manages to convey peace and serenity through the sadness. I suspect this is a book which will bear a second reading.
