Murder at the Vicarage (1930)is the first Miss Marple mystery book by Agatha Christie. Miss …

So modern!

I can't believe how modern this crime novel felt. If someone told me it was written in the 80s I wouldn't have questioned it.

The vicar was an amazing narrator and I really enjoyed his perspective. Miss Marple is just a minor character in this which came to a surprise. I also couldn't figure out who the murderer was which is always nice.

I listened to the German audio book narrated by Thomas Loibl who did an awesome job.

I liked this waaaay better than Murder on the Orient Express by the way.
