Mostly a fun chicklit read, but a nice change from the usual pink fare in that the main problem of the book was not the romance, it was the other issues Katie had in becoming a grownup, mostly dealing with alcoholism.[return][return]I'm surprised that something could be mostly a fun read, but still take on such a big issue and not come across awkwardly or preachily.
