I did it again. I’ve read this book every two years since it came out, and I guess I couldn’t wait until 2026. This time I tried to be even slower and pay more attention to details (I even spotted a couple of typos that I must have missed in previous readings). Always so sweet and enthralling, genuine but with the right amount of nostalgia. I always love how multilingualism is part of the story but never gets in the way of understanding.

It’s good, and it’s necessary. It fuels my rage, but it gives it structure and a purpose.

I read The Corrections over a decade ago and loved it. I suddenly felt it was time for a second read.

I find myself wanting to read this every couple of years, so this was my third time. Unlike the first time, I allowed myself to slow down and notice more of the details. It’s always a delightful read.

The workers, the industry, the world need this book. It’s as much a philosophical guide as it is practical.
