I've been reading any adaptation of Anne of Green Gables I encounter this year, and I picked up this one from a dollar store when I spotted it. It came with a download of an audiobook as well.
It's a simplified version of Anne of Green Gables with some charming illustrations. It pales compared to the original but keeps enough of Anne's personality and story to be a fine introduction for young readers.
