Despite me wanting to hate this book, it was actually quite good. The first 100 pages or so were really boring and just about Eleanor being sarcastic and mean. Other than that first section, the rest of the book was quite good and felt genuine in its handling of depression and family trauma. I guess the hype associated with this book is well-deserved.
