idk how to rate this??? i dont think i knew what i was getting into (the mix of analysis vs story and back and forth was kind of jarring to me) but i did like the booker t washington chapter a lot. i kept having to remind myself that it was probably wild to be saying these things publicly back then (even if now it feels like his take on education is kind of lukewarm)
