I really liked it - there's definitely enough content and epicness to warrant the 1200+ pages without getting bored. A few very disturbing elements (sometimes somewhat gratuitous?), but a solid story with memorable characters (although it can be argued that Joshua is somewhat of a Marty Stu) and very cool world building. I also want to say that I would have enjoyed this more as 2 600-page books instead of a single one, I could have done with a break (even though I actually read another book in the middle of this one - it's not the same ;) ), and possibly an occasional "Previously, on The Reality Dysfunction...".
