Still in the literary marathon that is The Wheel of Time - Knife of Dreams is the 11th book. I'm happy to report that I wasn't lied to when I've been told it would get better after 10. I did enjoy 10, possibly because I was back to it after a few weeks, but I enjoyed 11 much more. To put it bluntly, finally, stuff happens and loose ends that were dragging for 2 or 3 books get tied. I found myself looking forward to reading it instead of just reverting to default reading mode, that's always nice. So I enjoyed it a lot :)

Story wise:

Perrin finally gets reunited with Faile
Elayne gets the throne of Andor - the whole thing felt pretty anticlimatic though
Mat and Tuon get married
Egwene is back to novice white at the White Tower but plants seeds of dissenssion
Rand gets pwnd by Semirhage (well, both ways, but still)
The Aes Sedai plot, as usual

11 down, 3 to go... :)
