Another wild ride from an author who must write with a stop watch in hand, this one more bizarre in some ways than The Wheelman (and that's saying something.) Kowalski is back, and so is a hapless guy named Jack, who is at the receiving end of a really good opening line: "I poisoned your drink." This from a not-so-trustworthy blonde who is on the run from a mad scientist, spreading disaster with every kiss. Don't look for well-developed characters or believability. Just hang on and enjoy the ride.
