This book seemed to promote a very narrow minded us vs them mentality that I simply could not digest.. I've read quite a few military thrillers, most of which always have the notion of an enemy, but for whatever reason I felt like this book crossed a threshold that did not resonate with me. Given that this is mostly a well liked book, I'm guessing my point of view is not shared by most folks.
