Review of 'Children of Blood and Bone (Legacy of Orisha Book 1)' on 'Goodreads'

The world and story is a bit too simple and "epic", but it is so well done that I don't mind. It's a heavy handed allegory, but all the elements are well justified within the constructed world, so I don't mind. The characters are great, the plot twists surprising, and the potential for heart ache great. I definitely couldn't treat my characters so harshly.
