Wow. I don't remember ever feeling so moved, or so torn by these characters. Poor, patient Ruth. I was irritated with Beneatha and yet still identified with her most. Walter made me crazy. And Mama... she reminds me of my grandma. I loved this story, and it struck me much more this time around.
