This was a wonderful book! This was one of the 1st things I purchased for my husband shortly after I started dating him. The puns and games with language, ideas, and numbers are truly a great mental exercise and and more than pleasant diversion. He plays with some of the standard receptions and idioms in English, and I will never forget the dog that says "Tick“ but is named “Tock". Its intention is to point out the amazing things that are going on all around us even when we choose to be bored. Highly recommended for preteens through adults. WONDERFUL book!

I just reread this book; it seems so apt for the current politics of the US :-(, you know, the mountains of ignorance and the sea of knowledge from which most can emerge without having gotten wet! Yes, that's the current Republicans, and yes, if I've left you with any doubt whatsoever I have no respect for the current Republican Party at all.
I still LOVE the book!
By the way – Goodreads it is not letting me make additions to my current reading status:-(. Sigh.
