Marsha Woerner reviewed Thicker Than Water by J. D. Kirk
Review of 'Thicker Than Water' on 'Goodreads'
4 stars
Well, it started off slow – I suppose they all do – but in the end, it was kind of worth it. There were several misleading but captivating different paths and interesting and seemingly worthwhile clues. I really enjoyed the book!
But I did find the accent difficult (only because I'm not Scottish or Irish), and boy there were a lot of characters. I found it hard to keep everybody straight, but really they did solve themselves over time. The characters were well developed and consistent. This is the second book in the series (and I had, in fact, already read the first), but it really did not depend on the first.
Worth the time…
