I read this book as a recommendation of the Dark Elf Trilogy recommended by my friend Hetty. It's not generally my style, although it appeals to my son Levi, who has also listen to it. For book that's not my style, it was enjoyable! The elves and intrigues were captivating and induced respect. I have purchased the next two books in the trilogy :-)
