I actually read this quite a while ago (when I was in high school), but I was very impressed by the view and observance of the war and the fate of the people whom Hitler deemed unnecessary. I would like to read her unabridged diary (unabridged by her father, who thought that she was an icon of cool as opposed to a human). It is time for me to both this book and to read more about of good portion of what Americans know of the Holocaust: Anne Frank.
