Jude Gwynaire: Aliens In My Garden (Prodigy Gold Books (2018)) 5 stars

Captivating story

5 stars

The casting of characters is really original: a flying teacup, a witch, an owl, a potato former, orbs and a wizard in a castle. You will never see your garden in the same way. Sometime the garden seemed to be a whole world, sometime it seemed to be really small like a normal garden.

To be honest it took me a little time to realize that the first character, Harper, was on owl.

The story take a bit of time to really start but once all the protagonists are presented, the book started to be really immersive. I never read a fantasy novel like this. It was a great pleasure and rewarding for me.

Review of 'Manufactured Witches' on 'LibraryThing'

A warm story with lovable characters full of surprises and mysteries.returnFor me this story is dedicated to all children.returnA good read for a young reader. Of course also older ones.returnreturnI enjoyed it book from the beginning to end. I was immersed in the story quite fast.returnIt starts in a train somewhere in Texas with Nat the main character. Nat will cross the way of Camille. Camille would simply say that she is in the witchin’ business. The reality is of course a bit more complicated.returnThe end is not predictable, at least easily, and is quite exciting. In fact the book starts to be really exciting at the middle.returnreturnI definitely recommend it.

Review of 'Dear Jane' on 'LibraryThing'

5 stars

Kit Kat, a young girl who is not loved by the people supposed to love her. The only person who probably really loved her had to leave her to an adoptive mother unable to give the love she deserves. A new mother ignoring the already heavy past of this teenager. What she is.returnreturnThis beautiful story is told through letters to Jane, a fictional character, with whom she shares a very similar life. Jane will help Kit Kat to not forget who she is and has been.returnreturnA really sad story that gives strength.returnI recommend it.
