I can only hope I become as voracious a reader as I have a film watcher since getting started on Letterboxd. I have logged my reading over years on Shelfari then Goodreads, now here to try and get away from you know who/what. I would love to read more but have been stumbling around reading 4-10 books a year for a long time.

How?

I question the "How" in the subtitle of this book. Unfortunately it lacked a significant amount of depth and barely touched on the "how".

It is a reasonable summary of green politics, alongside some moaning often backed up by extremely anecdotal data/thoughts. I heard Natalie on a podcast before buying the book explaining that she has kept it brief and to the point exactly to make it more readable, but I am not sure there is much to gain from reading this book.

If you are already in a somewhat green state of mind, it is information you already know, accompanied by not very well backed up comments. If you don't, I dare say you would be put off by a lot of what is written.

It was a brief read, if it was longer I suspect I would have put it down, but I felt compelled to finish it.

In his boldest and most far-reaching book yet, world-famous economist Yanis Varoufakis argues that capitalism …

I feel this one missed the mark quite a bit. I am writing this a while after finishing reading it, but I think a lot of what is written does not really relate to reality - even down to basics such as suggesting Apple makes all its money from services that betray your privacy which is fairly obviously incorrect.
