Great popular science book about air reaches into so many aspects of life and history from the beginning of time to the present. Great historical characters (recognizable and enjoyable obscure) and loads of interesting anecdotes. The chemistry is described pretty effectively in a way a general audience can understand. Enjoyed the heck out of it.
