I have many mixed emotions about this reading and I don't even know where to start.
First of all I have to say I enjoyed this book so much, but I think I have a problem with contemporary romance. That being said, I have to admit that my main problem with contemporary romance is straight contemporary romance. I think I liked this one the most because I'm biased with sapphic women and being one myself makes the romance in general more enjoyable overall but yeah, I still think that the whole concept of contemporary romance is just not my thing and I think that's okay!
The romance was very cute and lovely, I love reading about Opal and Pepper and the representation of neurodivergent women. On the other hand, I really disliked and it pissed me off all the time the fact that they didn't communicate and just assumed what the other was thinking and feeling, and I know that's a real thing, I just don't want to read it in a book!
It's also true that I found some scenes that were supposed to be "funny" really cringe and even unnecesary, but that's just me I guess.

In conclusion, it's a nice book and that's it, that's why I'm giving it just 3 stars.

P.S. I just finished this book after not reading a word in about 3 months, so if I remember anything more I'll update or something.
