This is an incredible work of poetry. Williams's poems have this leaping quality about them; they seem to move quickly from idea to idea in a riveting way. This book will stick with me for a long time.

Review of 'Oscar Wilde' on 'Storygraph'
5 stars
Perfect "starting point" biography—you don't need any prior knowledge of or connection to Wilde to enjoy this biography. Really great if you want to learn Wilde's life story but aren't up for Richard Ellmann's work, or other rather dense biographies. This was the book that kickstarted my special interest in Wilde's life and work, which lasted a couple years.
