I want to love this. I'm finding it very weird.I lived in the NYC area for 13 years, so the "setting/characters" are very familiar, to the point of feeling like she's playing with stereotypes. I love her writing. I love how unstraight uncis unwhite her characters are - it's great being in a universe that's vibrant and real like that. But also...I guess so far the main plot is just not doing it for me. I'll hang in there though. But since I bought this one, it's one I keep picking up and putting down.
