I quite enjoyed the first two books in this series, but this book was a bit different.
Pacing wise, it was closer to the first book, with a slow start then action right through to the conclusion.
Unlike the other two books though, I found many of the protagonists behaviours incredibly stupid and irritating. Including his behaviour towards the previous female lead, who got swapped along the way with a side character.
Then the conclusion itself, whilst possibly the only valid one, felt like a cop out and seriously undermined everything that occurred in all the books, whilst simultaneously leaving some pretty big questions unanswered.
