It's extremely rare that a book makes me cry, but the characters are so well developed that the ending is surprisingly emotional. What a gift to read a tale so full of hope for humanity!
And along the way, an excellent mystery, exciting, lots of action. And I'm always a sucker for futuristic tech and scuba diving. :)

@deafferret Thanks! And you're reminding me I need to check out BookWyrm (just too many things to do, currently working on battling the climate crisis *in person* as we're weathering a climate-driven storm/outage with our solar/battery backups, trying to make sure friends are all okay. Gotta keep writing the climate solutions! )
