My expectations so far are pleasantly subverted...Expecting to read a story about bravado, violence, and conflict at a superficial level, the author has laid out the question of might making right and what good people ought to do when put between a rock and a hard place.
I'm looking forward to where this novel goes, especially given the reputation of the Warhammer 40k universe: "In the grim darkness of the future, there is only war...".
