Meh. I don't like his loose, indecisive writing style. It's like he writes everything little thing that comes to mind. Not even close to the worst example, but one I bookmarked:

Steven woke up alert. The pills didn't seem to be knocking him out as bad as they had. Or maybe it was that there was so much for him to think about. Probably that was it.
