A plasuble future involving a future world war
4 stars
The story starts relatively slow, giving insight to the characters and the theme of the story. Stick with it, because after the foundation is laid, the story explodes into a foreseeable outcome that draws inspiration from current global tensions experienced in 2022.
A worthy read if you want to explore a realistic outcome based on current day, real world situations.

A great book for videogame enthusaists and those who love 80's culture.

A great story regarding a late teen engaging in a video game quest with real-world impact. Set in a dystopian future, the tale gives you a blend of a virtual world learing to positive and meaningful real-life changes.
The story is told with enthusiasm and gives you a great insight into a late teen learning there is more to life than a virtual world. It also teaches you persistance, may lead to mindblowing results.
A short, but rich worthwhile cautionary tale for all.

A good life lesson regarding adapting to change and letting go of a a complacent, comfortable situation in hopes of avoiding change. The story reads like a children's book, but the book explores the story and gives several real life examples of applying the lesson to all stages of life.

Another Authoritarianism dystopian classic. A difficult read however.

Read this immediately afte reading the Orwell classic, 1984. I admit, I struggled reading this book. The method of story telling, with the switching of character perspective was difficult to follow. The idea of the book became far more clearer as the book progressed and became clear especially towards the end.
However the ideas presented in the book and their demonstration was thought provoking.

A masterpiece of dystopia. Incredible story exploring the outcome of fascism.
5 stars
I've read this book wanting to fully understand the concept "Orwellian". I was always able to conceputualize the idea of "Big Brother" but never really full understood.
This book certainly fufilled that quest for knowledge, and masterfully described a dystopian outome potentially arising from a outbreak of fascism. A perfect example of storytellying using a relatively plausible future arising from the Nazi regime and the rise 20th century authoritarianism.
