@eff great article - thank you! I think this ban should also include a ban on companies keeping persistent #profiles on us.
It's not enough for us to have the right to request the deletion of the profile, it should be illegal to build and keep that #behaviouralprofile in the first place.
What do you reckon?

@eff But a law enabling consumers to sue data brokers could make the government liable for brokering consumer data. I guess we're not supposed to look behind the curtain though.
