This is probably one of the best books I've read since One of Us Is Lying, and a lot of the Tokyo Ghoul series. This was amazing and made me fucking cry. I love all of the characters we follow, and it just fills you with sadness but also rage. Who wouldn't feel outraged to know these things can actually happen, HAVE actually happened. Just because COVID just so happened to start in China. Yifei was definitely my favorite character, I loved how she was written. Cora was a very interesting one, and Harvey...while he made me mad sometimes, I really enjoyed his character too. Though I won't forgive you Kylie Lee Baker, for killing them off in such awful ways. Easy five star, I loved this on a deep level. The ghosts at the end helping her was just so...tear jerking. Like they pull her away from the flames, …

I don't care, this is a 5 star. I loved this so much, I mean...I'm a huge Scream fan, but I'm also a big Scre4m stan too. And this book reminds me more of the 4th one, rather than the first one. I do agree the romance was a bit insta lovey...but isn't that kind of accurate to horror slashers? I love the characters, Nadia was definitely my favorite. CJ's mom was a badass, and I love the romance, even if it was pretty insta lovey. I love slashers, Scream, and a fun time...this was all of that.

I really enjoyed this, I honestly think the episode did it justice. The Haunted Mask was one of my favorite episode, and it's now one of my favorite books out of all the Goosebumps books. It was also pretty unsettling, especially for a kids book.

3. The Haunted Mask
4. Welcome to Dead House
5. Vampire Breath

Anton Hur, Bora Chung: Cursed Bunny (Paperback, 2022, Algonquin Books)

2.5

Really weird, and boring. I like the first few stories, but then it got incredibly boring. And the stories that I liked were pretty short and the boring ones were so long for some reason. The Head and The Embodiment were my favorites, and I wanted the book to lean in on the weird and/or body horror. I liked some of it, but it's kind of disappointed me.

Still the best Goosebumps story so far, we'll see if that changes. I really liked the writing in this, and unlike what I've heard and read about the stupid fat "joke" in this it's actually seen as cruel, so it definitely shows that at least "fat jokes" aren't necessarily funny, even in the 90s. I love Slappy as a villain, in the books, in the show, and even in the movies. The new shows I haven't gotten that far in sadly.

It's alright, defiantly the worst out of the Slappy ones so far. Mostly because I thought the kids were incredibly annoying, and I mean...if my kids were crying about a dummy, I wouldn't yell at them, unlike what this dad did. I actually liked the ending, it was pretty good and probably the best part of the book.

For a first Stephen King book for me to read, this was that bad. I do like the way it's written, and I don't mind how Darcy is portrayed. There are a few parts that made me want to gag to be honest, and I think King did a good job making her husband very unlikable and just disgusting. Pretty solid book.

I loved this. The art is so good, and I'm enjoying the characters. It's hooked me in, and I love that. The look of the Hakugin was really cool. And is it just me or is it a bit...gay?

Sara Shepard: Flawless (Pretty Little Liars, #2) (2007)

Kind of problematic, but it's entertaining. It's a bit uncomfortable that minor/adult relationships are in this, Wren and Spencer, Ian and Spencer, Aria and Ezra, it's just weird. Hanna's father is worse in this, and I'm so glad they changed Pam, Emily's mother in the show...kind of. I wished they changed more things, such as Aria and Ezra and all of Spencer in S1. The talk of ED is fine, maybe not the best though. What is entertaining is how just plain awful these girls can be, and I can't wait to continue

Oh my God, this was so good. It was so beautiful, the descriptions of things made me feel like I was actually in the world, I also cried in the last chapters. My favorite character is probably Zhen, I think I kind of felt my own personality within him, and even with Xian. It was so funny, endearing, and heartbreaking...but I loved every second of it

I really liked this, the artwork is pretty good. I think it's a good first volume, and it's definitely as weird as people have been saying it is. But I do like it, I also like how the characters are older in this and aren't 14/15, like Future Diary and Call of the Night is about that age range. Since I am almost 17, I feel weird reading topics younger than me, even if I'm not that much older. And especially if it deals with sexual topics. But that aside, this is at the top.

I enjoyed most of it. I just think the girl on girl hate is a stupid overused trope in books and in TV, that it brings it down to a 3.5. I hate the motive, I think if it was someone else for a different reason...it would've been a 4
