I love this concept, and I think the execution was well done. It kind of reminds me of the movie Cam, that came out around 2018, just instead of a cam girl, it's a twitch streamer. I also love the cover and how relatively short and fast paced it is

I can't believe how invested I am into this. I really enjoyed this volume. I really wonder what is going to happen to Makima. And let me just say...Lady Quanxi can slap me...stab me, throw me around, and I'd thank her

By far my favorite, I loved the fight scenes way better. I'm really interested into Reze's character, and the Angel Devil's. I swear, I have a bad feeling about Aki...that something bad is going to happen to him. The ending...intrigues me

Okay, now this one is so far my favorite volume, but there is much more to go. I like Makima as a...whatever character architype she is. I'm not too attached to these characters though, other than Power.

One of my favorite stories within the show and the book is just as good. I like how eerie it is with its descriptions, and for the first book within the series, it's really well written and good.

My God...this was so good. It made me mad, confused, and so...so satisfied. Juniper is one the most annoying characters that doesn't think she's racist...when in reality she's close to being that. Using words like "You people" and completely describing Chinese women as stereotypes...when she doesn't even realize what she's doing. I love the way R.F. Kuang wrote her and this book as a whole. You hate Juniper...but can't stop reading, you're interested in her downfall, and I think that's masterful.
