Got to 30%. I was initially enjoying this. The narrator’s voice reminded me of Catherine Called Birdy, probably because I just read that. But at a certain point you know where it’s going, and there isn’t much special about the book to make it worth reading on. I need something more complex or more in the horror/paranormal vein.
