I liked this a lot! Fans of this should also try Laura Purcell. There’s a similar accessible but vaguely 1800s style of writing and dialogue. Purcell’s books are also in this mystery/thriller vein.

I liked all the twists and the way that Florence, Agnes, and Hammond were characterized. I was engaged and cared about where the story would take them. The cat fancier detail is just perfect.
