Fricking excellent writing!

I love the characters in this book, apart from Markus from time to time. Everyone seems reasonable, and how I'd hope normal people would behave in a strained situation.

Books and other media all require characters to be so idiotic, or stroppy to drive tension and add drama to the story. This book manages the same tension, and plenty of drama, without making anyone into an annoying moron.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book.
