Heartbreaking story on multi-generational trauma and the AIDS crisis in Chicago in the 80s and 90s. Lovely, real, round characters and great interwoven storylines. The beauty of this book is that all characters are somehow clearly in the wrong, but you deeply understand all their decisions and motivations.
