Review of 'Messy' on 'Goodreads'

4 stars

A superbly well written argument against absolute organisation, Messy reads well - if you’re familiar with Harford’s podcasts you will, like me, probably read this in his voice and covers a lot of ground along the way.
At times I felt it’s pop culture bent was too much, and could’ve done with a little more heft, but like any well argued business document, it provides plenty of references that can be consulted after the fact if you choose to do so.
As someone who spends far too much of his time thinking about how things might be done, stored etc. it’s contained enough good reminders that Life is Messy, and we should get on with living it rather than planning how we’re going to.
