From time to time a book comes along which aligns with or perhaps sets the zeitgeist. Andy Grove’s management and goal setting methodology isn’t new, but John Doerr certainly found great success in communicating a version of it such that even the most hamstrung organisation could absorb and apply some of its key facets.
