This is a book in which:

The Hero: is a devoutly chaste virgin who writes books and gives impassioned speeches about how society disproportionately punishes women for being unchaste and how cruel and wrong it is to slut-shame women and accuse them of being responsible for men's actions, and who hates the fame this has brought him and mostly just wants people to stop pushing teenaged girls on him as just because he's chaste doesn't mean he's looking for someone who he can control and "mold"

and

The Heroine: is courtesan who's been taking care of herself since she was 14 and who has been hired to seduce the hero and ruin his reputation, but who instead rediscovers and reclaims her agency over her own desires, wants, and needs, while taking the hero to task for his lingering self-righteousness, and not being satisfied until she can feel like an equal in their relationship.

Courtney Milan, I appreciate your life choices.
