2017: Yup, still a five star read on the re-read.

2012: This graphic novel was incredible. I feel like I missed out on having a proper childhood by not reading comic books, especially if they were of this caliber. I enjoyed everything about this from the art style, to the jumpy narrative and story. I enjoyed that since Batman was older and slower he had to analyze his opponents and plan his attack to accommodate for the difference in speed and strength. It's terrifying to think that a retired Batman can come out of hiding and still kick ass.
