When you're between two shores and no one can see you, you don't really exist at all

Taking a break from the fantasy genre to explore other stories. This isn't a book I typically read so I won't give this a rating, or even a review. The story passed my time adequately and if I was more invested in the story some of the heavier moments would have landed pretty hard.
